1948 Farmall C
[Previous Pic]  [Main List]  [Next Pic]

I bought this locally to restore, but found a 1957 Cub Lo-Boy for 1500!! Sacrifices....this sold on e-bay on August 9th 2003. The following is a copy of the ad. I wanted to ad that the PTO shaft is like that of a Farmall B and the axles are different than say a 1950 C or later Super Cs.

'Farmall C S/N 411X. To the best of my knowledge it needs the following; seat spring, generator belt;the generator rebuilt; the magneto redone. The tool box has rust-through in two spots. I have replaced the sediment globe screen and gasket. It has a rubber hose and a fuel filter between the carb and the globe. Alot of the original wiring is there it just needs to be connected. It also needs a battery box and an original pull switch. It has a dual PTO. It has one new rear tire and the other one is worn but still holds air. Also it has two car tires on the front. The engine is free. It also has new sparkplugs. I have the grille, but the top section has come loose and needs two small bolts/welds to tighten it up. The radiator neck is loose and has been welded. The weld needs to be touched up.'
