Oliver 2 Bottom Furrow Lift Plow (1916?)
[Previous Pic]  [Main List]  [Next Pic]

This is my grandfather's Oliver plow he bought at an auction recently. I have seen pictures of this plow being pulled by very early fordson prototypes in dated photos from early 1916 thru mid 1917 when the Oliver #7 plow was introduced for use with the fordson. These picture show the word 'automatic' painted on the back crossmember that ties the beams together. It has the same mulboards and shears as the #7. What is the model of this plow? Or was this a prototype of the #7 for the Fordson? Any info would be great! I can also send additional pictures of different angles. -Steve
