Winter Rye Trouble
[Previous Pic]  [Main List]  [Next Pic]

This is last years pick around this same time. My trouble…this years New England weather. I haven’t got my Rye in yet due to the wet conditions & I’m worried that if I seed it now in this cold wet weather it will rot before it germinates. Any thoughts? Will it rot or is it hardy enough to germinate when it gets a chance to? I would appreciate any words of wisdom, Thanks.
