Doe Triple D 1962
[Previous Pic]  [Main List]  [Next Pic]

The doe triple D or doe daul drive was desighned to solve the problem of there not being many high horspower tractors available. Two skid units were joined together to give the machine high horsepower, it also had the ability to turn at 90 degrees and run on only one engine if neccesary. It was not sold only in the uk, many were exported. It was origionaly based on two fordson major units and was uprated with the launch of the super major. There were many variations of the basic desighn and when newer ford 6x skid units and ford forces units were employed, they were named the doe 130 and doe 150.
