1918 Fordson F Cylinders/Block
[Previous Pic]  [Main List]  [Next Pic]

This is what we found when we took the head of of the fordson I posted a couple of days ago. you have got to love old iron to undertake such as this. Notice the Birds nest down in the water jacket in the block. Surprisingly enough every sigle nut and bolt that we have taken out of this tractor cam out clean. Knock on wood...we have not wrung off a bolt yet. Dad and I are gluttens for punishment. He is nearly 70, and I enjoy spending time with him tinkering on such 'toys'. He is a world of experience and knowledge. Neither of us farm, at least any more, but we both love rusty iron! This is our third undertaking, with no end in sight!
