1950 Dearborn Cordwood Saw Model 22-44
[Previous Pic]  [Main List]  [Next Pic]

My 1948 Ford 8N and a 1950 Dearborn Cordwood Saw Model #22-44 which was purchased in good working condition but was missing the 'wishbone' bracket and the two legs, both essential to using with the 8N. I made all the parts from a friends' borrowed original parts and they work great. I had to get the belt cut to size at a local tractor yard and restored an orignal Ford belt pulley to attach to the 8N. I now use the rig at my tractor clubs' (Richmond Antique Engine & Threshing Association) shows where we demonstrate an old time sawmill, shingle mill; and threshing machine. I've also used it to cut up downfall from storms that hit at least once a year. RAETA in MICHIGAN if interested.
