Yesterday's Tractor Company - Antique Tractor Pictures

1934 Allis Chalmers M Lives Again
[Previous Pic]  [Main List]  [Next Pic]

This is a picture after we got this brute running. The little gem besides the M is my prize 1940 Farmall B, under restoration. The Allis fired on the second turn of the starter, and ran a clean stack. It has been sitting in the open with no cover for 20 + yrs. I have been squirting oil in the spark plug holes for a few years, and I think that is what saved it. It is running just fine, and that hand clutch is a blast, but one minor problem, IT ONLY TURNS LEFT! Its been alot of fun working on such a brute. I hope y'all enjoy the pics!
