Yesterday's Tractor Company - Antique Tractors - Stuck and Troubled

Komatsu 155

Is this sweet revenge from the trees point of view.? This 33 ton Komatsu had been pushing these trees out by using his torque converter, just bunting until they were giddy and fell over, however this tree was on a lean and wouldn't move so he put his root rippers in to cut the roots,he then went round the wrong side, the tree gave way at the critical moment and squashed the crawler, I've never seen an operator leave the seat so quickly.Talk about a watermelon pip. They used to 400HP haulers to hold the tree while they cut it, to get the crawler out.
