Here is an original 9N and 2N Muffler bracket and clamp, it mounts to the tractor on the flange where the trans and rear housing join. This is where all 9N and 2N tractor mufflers were mounted when they left the factory. The tear drop looking bracket that mounts the muffler now days is an 8N muffler hanger.
