Ford 871 With Installed Generator Light - Alternator Wiring Diagram
[Previous Pic]  [Main List]  [Next Pic]

If you want to change a Hundred Series Ford tractor to an alternator system, and have an 'idiot light' already installed, here is how you modify the original wiring to use all three alternator terminals...and make the light work.

This diagram is a modified version of the 12 Volt Deisel electrical system because 6 volt diagrams with an 'idiot light' don't seem to be available.

This wiring change will work with 6 volt or 12 volt the Delco 10-SI alternators used in most of the modification kits.
