Yesterday's Tractor Company - Antique Tractor Pictures

1952 John Deere G
[Previous Pic]  [Main List]  [Next Pic]

The picture is my 1952 John Deere G being drove out of the shed under its own power last Sunday. Started working on it around the first of September. Still have to do some work to it, but I just wanted to take it for a spin. The tractor in the background is my 1950 JD G parts tractor. I had to use the two to make one decent tractor. Used the rearend and engine from the parts tractor. Used the frame, tires, rims, sheet metal, and etc. from the first one I bought. The one I purchased first was stuck and missing a piston and rod. Plus there was a lot of internal damage to the engine.
