It does not look loke an oldtimer, but it is; In Germany, there is one brand name, when You speak about great tractors; SCHLUETER. Up to the early 1990ies Schlueter was the only manufacturer, who produced tractors above 150HP. The picture shows the only prototype of the SCHLUETER PROFI-TRAC 5000 TVL. With 500 HP (powered by a M.A.N V-12 Diesel) this tractor from 1978 is in Europe the first and (up to now) the last ever built tractor with this high power. Today this prototype is owned by a private person and coninues working. Schlueter produced a low number of tractors at a power rate of up to 320HP from the 1970ies up to the early 1990ies, where the production ended. Schlueter Standard-tractors and the 4WD-types called Profi-Trac and Super-Trac stand for tractor-technology at its best Made in Germany. Most of Schlueter-Tractors ever made are working up to now! The brand-label of Schlueter was a bear and the blue-white flag of Bavaria.
