Yesterday's Tractor Company - Help Identify These Antique Tractors

60S, Topeka Highway Mower,
[Previous Pic]  [Main List]  [Next Pic]

I purchased this mower from a guy whose father had purchased from Missouri Highway Dept. He said that it was used to mow highway right-of-way. It is based on either a International Scout or Willys running gear. Engine is a 4 cylinder flathead, Hercules. Transmission is a 3 speed T-90, Transfer case has high and low range. Front axle is Dana 25 and rear is Dana 40. It came with duals in the rear (see one in background), but the photo shows them removed. I was told it's top speed was about 50 mph. It was manufactured in Topeka, KS. If you have any information on this unit, I would like to hear from you. My phone numbe is 636-458-4774.
