1950 Farmall M - Hidden Fuel Gauge

This was a winter project I just completed. I was tired of guessing what the fuel level was in the tank. I sawed the outer shell of the fuel cap without cutting through the inner baffles. Then with some drilling, hammering and epoxy, I installed a fuel gauge inside the fuel cap. The fuel gauge is the same type used on riding lawn mowers. The cap is hinged on the back side and looks fairly normal if you're not real close.
