Yesterday's Tractor Company - Antique Tractor Pictures

1936 Allis Chalmers WC
[Previous Pic]  [Main List]  [Next Pic]

This is the WC plowing our first snow, and her first time plowing snow. The blade is a 7ft attached to a cut down version of a front loader structure. The blade pivots, and the structure pivots on a 2inch solid steel bar mounted under her belly. The hydraulic pump is a two stage running off the crankshaft via a belt. Notice the Hydraulic reservoir mounted under the drivers seat. The Hydraulic cylinder is a 30ton ram and mounts to a 2in solid steel bar, which mounts in the cultivator brackets, and the steel supports on the nose come apart in two pieces. No fluid in the tires, or chains, and she pushed wet heavy snow without a problem. I used all existing holes in the frame so this application can be removed and the tractor still keeps her original look.
