  • I have an AC WF 1938. Good shape, been restored, runs great. I also have an AC B 1942. Runs great but needs TLC. My favorite tractor is my MD 10-20 1930 on steel. I bought it from my Dad who has now passed on. He restored and showed it at local shows.

  • As long as I can remember my dad had a WF tractor similar to the one in the picture. I drove that old macjine when I was seven years old. It was a tough old bird to handle, but I did quite well. We had just overhauled it and were ready to put new tires on it when our garage caught on fire and distroyed it. A sad day.

  • Hey.... My tather had a WF from 1949 to about 1964 or 1965. It had more streamlined fenders than one in picture. I remember clutch being so damn hard to push that we had to hang on to steering wheel for dear life! In second gear at 3/4 throttle it had great torque.

Willing to consider selling it back when the time comes. Very sentimental reasons. thanks. CaroleSue Chase, South Haven MI

  • After reviewing the photos abain, I should have said ours resembled the AC-WF not the WD45.
Harold Saylor wrote on Sunday, August 06, 2000 (PDT):
  • We had an Allis Chalmers on our dairy farm in Penna when I was growing up during the 40's, but I don't see it in any of the photos currently in the gallery. It was similar to the WD45 - wide fenders and square radiator, crank start, gasoline engine (4cyl), however it had narrow front wheels and I remeber being told it originally had steel lug rear wheels. Lots of (fond?) memories having to drive it at age 6-7 to make hay and doing my best to follow the wind-rows around turns etc even tho' I couldn't quite reach the clutch petal or hand breaks! I'd like to know what model it actually was and if any are still around.
