1943 Cockshutt 70 Standard

1943 Cockshutt 70 Standard - Cockshutt Plow Co. of Brantford, Ontario sold Oliver tractors, rebadged as Cockshutt tractors. The only difference between the Oliver and the Cockshutt was the colours (red and cream vs. green and red) and the radiator strip and decals said 'Cockshutt'. This is a WWII era tractor with steel wheels due to rubber rationing for the war effort. Because of the rough-riding steel cleats it also has a lock-out collar on the 5-6 gear selector in the transmission.
