My Old Faithfull - Renk 434RR. She held on better than anything in these conditions, but with not near enough moisture during grain fill, will not make saleable TW grain, ears dropped, and basically dried prematurly. I will be planting this again as it is definatly a tough corn, just not tough enough this year, rain makes grain, had none
My Old Faithfull
Soil Differences And Corn - This corn is from the same feild, same hybrid, same fertility program. The good cobs are really nice where ever there was some sort of sub soil moisture. Sadly the field is only about 5% of the good ones. Great hybrid for moist soils though, never seen it this dry here.
